The following terms are effective on March 1, 2024 and thereafter until modified.
AAdvantage® Status for a Day
- AAdvantage® Status for a day does not apply to Million Miler™.
- Once purchased, unlocked, redeemed or otherwise received with AAdvantage® miles or Loyalty Points, as applicable, AAdvantage® Status for a day cannot be changed, exchanged, modified, or transferred.
- AAdvantage® Status for a day is nonrefundable.
- If your selected day is impacted by an involuntary flight cancellation, please contact AAdvantage® customer service.
- AAdvantage® Status for a day must be purchased at least 7 days before the desired usage date and the date chosen to use the award must be within 372 days from purchase.
- Members who do not already have access to complimentary Preferred or Main Cabin Extra seats when they purchase will receive 4 Main Cabin Extra seat coupons in their AAdvantage® account.
- Seat coupons will expire 2 days after the selected date and must be applied to future travel before expiration. Travel date must be before the coupon expiration date.
- AAdvantage® Status benefits and seat coupons cannot be applied retroactively to ancillaries which have already been purchased.
- Complimentary upgrades and access to Preferred and Main Cabin Extra seats for AAdvantage® Status for a day recipient and companion(s) are subject to availability and may not be available on all flights.
- Members who have AAdvantage® Status through AAdvantage® Status for a day are not eligible for discounts on Admirals Club® memberships other than what their earned AAdvantage® Status may provide.
- AAdvantage® Status for a day is only available on American Airlines marketed and operated flights.
- AAdvantage® Status for a day is limited to 2 purchases per member, per unlocked Loyalty Point level available until the expiration date shown in your AAdvantage® account.
- Applies to all ticket types including purchased, award and employee travel.

Gift of AAdvantage® Status for a Day
- Gift of AAdvantage® Status for a day does not apply to Million Miler™.
- Once purchased, unlocked, redeemed or otherwise received with AAdvantage® miles or Loyalty Points, as applicable, AAdvantage® Status for a day cannot be changed, exchanged, modified, or transferred.
- AAdvantage® Status for a day is nonrefundable.

- Recipients of gift of AAdvantage® Status must be an AAdvantage® member.
- AAdvantage® Status for a day can only be gifted to an AAdvantage® member without AAdvantage® Status or holding an AAdvantage® Status lower than the gifted AAdvantage® Status.
- If your gift of AAdvantage® Status is given to a recipient who earns the gifted AAdvantage® Status or higher on their own before their use of the gift of AAdvantage® Status for a day, contact AAdvantage® customer service.
- The date selected by the recipient to use the award must be at least 7 days in advance of the desired usage date.
- Recipients of AAdvantage® Status for a day must choose a day to use their award within 372 days from receipt.
- Recipients who do not already have access to complimentary Preferred or Main Cabin Extra seats when the day is chosen will receive either 4 Preferred seat coupons or 4 Main Cabin Extra seat coupons in their AAdvantage® account, as determined by their current AAdvantage® Status.
- In cases where seat coupons are deposited, they will expire 2 days after the selected date and must be applied to future travel before expiration. Travel date must be before the coupon expiration date.

Flagship® First Dining visit pass
- Pass holder must have a same-day boarding pass for travel on an eligible flight that allows clearance through security for flight departure and access to the Flagship® First Dining location. Same-day priority verification cards are accepted.
- An ‘eligible flight’ includes any departing or arriving flight that is marketed or operated by American or marketed and operated by any oneworld® airline.
- A Flagship® First Dining pass provides access to the holder and their immediate family (spouse, domestic partner and / or children under 18) or up to two guests. Children 2 and older count as a guest.
- Customers must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to visit a Flagship® Lounge with a self-service bar, unless accompanied by an adult who is at least twenty-one (21). Local age laws and regulations apply in non-U.S. Flagship® Lounges.
- Not all American origin and destination locations have a Flagship® Lounge or offer Flagship® First Dining. Please be sure to check for information on our Flagship® Lounge and Flagship® First Dining locations.
- Flagship
® Lounge hours vary by location and are subject to change. - Use of a Flagship® First Dining visit pass may be limited based on Flagship® First Dining capacity.
- A Flagship® First Dining pass is valid for a single use at eligible Flagship® Lounge locations. A Flagship® First Dining pass is marked as used upon registration and entry into a Flagship® Lounge.
- The pass is non-transferrable and can’t be combined with another offer.
- Use of Flagship® Lounge facilities is subject to all rules, terms and conditions set by American, including all policies set forth in the Flagship® Lounge terms and conditions.
- By entering any Flagship® Lounge, you affirmatively acknowledge and agree that these terms and conditions are a binding agreement between you and American Airlines (“American”).
